What a lovely exhibition. Congratulations !

Yumi Nagano has brought a unique, unusual and fun installation to POSK Gallery for
the Duo exhibition with Roger McNulty in August this year.

The gallery was transformed into a space where the dozens of different shapes and
sizes ‘poached’ eggs were scattered over the floor, walls, doors and plinths. What made it
unusual was the three dimensional aspect of it.

The artist, Yumi Nagano, provided special glasses for use by the visitors, who would put
them on and suddenly, the eggs would start to float above the floor and off the walls, moving
about as though in a special dance. This was achieved through a combination of a 3D printing
process and the use of coloured glasses that were specially provided for this purpose.

It was the first time that Yumi Nagano exhibited in London. Despite of the holiday period and
relatively quiet time at the Private View, the gallery received many positive comments from
the visitors that were passing through every day, some of them visiting London from far away
places. It was the first time that such an installation was exhibited in the gallery and it made
a very successful duo with the abstract, evocative paintings of steelworks by Roger McNulty.
